Editing :(

I have to be honest, editing is my least favorite part of any project. I'm glad I presented before the break, because the feedback I received was very valuable, and will make editing easier. I am one of those people that has so much confidence in my creations, that I tend to not take criticism well, even when it's helpful and well-put. Luckily, I definitely see how I can make my project better by being mindful of what you all said.

So, thanks to everyone who gave me good advice today. I may or may not work on it over break. We shall see!

  1. I thought the draft of your infographic was fascinating. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

  2. Hi Melissa,
I know how you feel in regards to the criticism you received, as I struggle with putting too much confidence in my own perception of my work. When I was working on my radio essay, and as I think you may have done with your infographic, I looked and listened to my project so many times, I got to thinking it was perfect. I feel that while I was working on my project, I looked at it only from my perspective, and maybe heard things that I wanted to be there that perhaps weren't yet.
Good luck with your editing! Take the criticism you were given, but don't lose your vision for what YOU want your infographic to be!
