I have enjoyed this re-genre project. It helps that my project requires me to
look through old family vacation photos, but I have also enjoyed learning about
everyone else’s re-genres. I think the radio essays and the poetry slam will be
especially interesting. I love
podcasts myself and find them very interesting so I’m excited to see what my
classmates will come up with. With
my project I am now deciding how exactly I should format my photo essay. The photo essay Braving Ebola that I discussed
in class is currently my favorite format.
I liked how it was in a slideshow format with a white background and
minimal distractions. I think I
will probably try to set mine up like that. But I’m still playing around with a few other ideas so we’ll
see what I end up with.
I am very interested to see how your project turns out because you are the only one doing a photo essay and also we discussed some ideas for it last week. So I am curious how you decided to incorporate your personal photos, and text, and the other photos you had.
